We cover Wayne, Pike, and Monroe Counties — and we cover them like adults. That means when a story lands on our desk, the first question is “what happened?” not “who’s going to be upset?”. We don’t care if the answer makes the mayor uncomfortable. We don’t care if it makes you uncomfortable. The story is the story.

Every other outlet in this country has picked a side. They perform outrage on cue, ignore what doesn’t fit, and call it journalism. We’re not interested in that game. Left, right — we don’t care where a story falls. We care where it leads.
