POCONO TOWNSHIP, PA — Police are asking for the public’s help locating a 24-year-old man wanted on 11 sex charges after allegedly raping an unconscious woman in July 2022.

Carlos Omar Urena Ordonez, whose last known address is in East Stroudsburg, faces four first-degree felonies among the charges. Magisterial District Judge Daniel Kresge issued an arrest warrant on March 29, 2023. He has never been apprehended.

Urena Ordonez is a Hispanic male standing 5’5″ and weighing approximately 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. His date of birth is April 12, 2000.

What Police Say Happened

Pocono Township Police Officer Earl Ackerman investigated an incident that occurred on July 31, 2022. The criminal complaint was filed eight months later.

Details of the assault are not included in the public docket, but the charges indicate the victim was unconscious during parts of the attack and also subjected to forcible compulsion.
