POCONO TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Pocono Township arrested Robin Marie Remick on October 6, 2025, after officers reported seeing her vehicle repeatedly cross the white fog line along Route 611. The incident marks what appears to be Remick’s third DUI-related arrest in recent years, according to publicly available court records.
Police say the traffic stop occurred near Agate Way, where an officer noted signs of impaired driving. Upon approaching the vehicle, the officer detected a strong odor of alcohol coming from Remick. A background check revealed that her driver’s license was already suspended due to previous DUI convictions.
Remick was taken into custody and charged with DUI – General Impairment, DUI – High Rate, and Driving While DUI-Suspended. She was later transported to the Monroe County Correctional Facility following processing.
Previous Convictions Highlight Ongoing Pattern
Court documents show that Remick has a documented history of DUI offenses in Monroe County.
Her first recorded case, filed under docket CP-45-CR-0000997-2022, resulted in a guilty plea to a DUI charge. She was sentenced to six months of probation, ordered to serve 30 days on electronic monitoring, and required to pay fines and fees. The conviction resulted in a 12-month driver’s license suspension.
A second case, docketed as CP-45-CR-0002431-2023, also ended in a guilty plea. In July 2024, Remick was sentenced to another six-month term, including 90 days of electronic monitoring, mandatory drug and alcohol treatment, and additional fines. Court records indicate she paid more than $1,250 in accumulated fees and monitoring costs connected to that case.
The two prior convictions, combined with her current charges, suggest an escalating pattern of impaired driving behavior that may influence prosecutorial decisions and potential sentencing outcomes as this latest case proceeds.
Public Safety Concerns Remain High
Local authorities have long emphasized the dangers posed by repeat DUI offenders, particularly as impaired driving continues to be a contributing factor in crashes throughout Monroe County. While police did not release additional details regarding bail or conditions, Remick’s prior record may prompt heightened scrutiny from the courts.
The Pocono Township Police Department has increased DUI enforcement efforts in recent years, including saturation patrols and targeted operations on high-risk roadways like Route 611. Cases like Remick’s, officials say, highlight the ongoing need for comprehensive deterrence strategies to protect motorists.
