**UPDATE: LUCY WAS CAPTURED ON 11/21/2025**
EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — Stroud Area Regional Police have issued a bench warrant for Lucy Ann Morris, 26, after officers say she was found in possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia during an arrest earlier this year. Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating her.
According to police, the incident occurred on July 10, 2025, at approximately 11:00 p.m., when an officer observed Morris standing outside the Walmart on Lincoln Avenue in East Stroudsburg. A routine records check reportedly revealed that Morris had two active bench warrants — one in Monroe County and another in Northampton County.
Morris was taken into custody at the scene. During a search incident to arrest, officers say they found controlled substances and drug paraphernalia inside her purse. She was subsequently transported to the Monroe County Correctional Facility on the existing warrants.
Following the arrest, new charges were filed against Morris for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, violations of Title 35 of Pennsylvania’s drug statutes. Police report that she later failed to appear for a scheduled court hearing, resulting in a new bench warrant being issued on November 4, 2025.
Morris is described as a 26-year-old white female, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing around 130 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Authorities noted that she is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
The warrant remains active, and the Stroud Area Regional Police Department is urging anyone with information about Morris’ whereabouts to come forward. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
