TANNERSVILLE, PA – Monroe County authorities are seeking the public’s help locating a 33-year-old Jackson, New Jersey man accused of targeting vehicles at Pocono Premium Outlets using key fob cloning technology.

Lasha Gersamia has an active arrest warrant issued April 3, 2025, through Magisterial District Judge Daniel Kresge’s office.

What Police Say Happened

On August 19, 2024, witnesses reported two men peering into vehicles and trying door handles in the outlet mall parking lot. Officers located Gersamia and 33-year-old Beka Kvernadze of Brooklyn, New York.

A consent search of their vehicle revealed specialized tools used to manipulate car computer systems and program counterfeit key fobs—allowing thieves to steal vehicles without forced entry.

Both men face identical charges.

Prior Record

Gersamia has three prior Pennsylvania cases, all minor 2023 traffic violations in Bucks and Venango counties resolved with guilty pleas and fines.
