The September Incident
According to Stroud Area Regional Police, the warrant case originated from a domestic disturbance on September 27, 2025, at approximately 9:26 p.m. at 54 Garden Street in Stroudsburg.
The victim told police she had returned home from work and approximately one hour later went to put clothing away in her bedroom closet. When she opened the closet door, she found Gonzalez standing inside.
The victim told Gonzalez to leave. He refused, even after being told several times.
The victim’s son then entered the bedroom, and the two attempted to push Gonzalez out of the residence. When the victim tried to call police, Gonzalez allegedly took her phone.
The victim was eventually able to get Gonzalez out of the home and locked the door. Police say Gonzalez then kicked the door, damaging the door frame and locking mechanism.
The victim observed Gonzalez outside with a pocketknife, the blade exposed, making comments about damaging her vehicle tires. He then allegedly walked to the victim’s vehicle and punctured a tire before fleeing the scene prior to police arrival.
Charges were filed and a felony arrest warrant was issued.
