EAST STROUDSBURG, PA — Stroud Area Regional Police are asking for the public’s help locating a Montana woman who has been wanted for more than three months after she was arrested for refusing to leave an East Stroudsburg Starbucks where staff caught her bathing in the restroom.
Katharine Schreck, 40, of Missoula, Montana, was taken into custody at the scene on August 7 and transported to the Monroe County Correctional Facility for processing. Magisterial District Judge Michael A. Wolbert issued an arrest warrant on August 29, charging her with defiant trespass, a third-degree misdemeanor.
Police posted Schreck to CrimeWatch on December 1, seeking tips from the public. The case remains inactive, awaiting her capture.
The Incident
According to the criminal complaint filed by Officer Shanellie J. Sosa, police were dispatched to the Starbucks at 115 Brown Street at 12:02 p.m. on August 7 for a report of trespassing.
